We have participated in a number of implementations and we saw a reoccurring theme - central asset lists. Active Agenda uses separate modules to track management details associated with assets, but we hadn't centralized the assets on a single list - until now.
Active Agenda's asset tracking modules (i.e. equipment, vehicles, buildings, etc.) allow users to assign and track management efforts (e.g. inspection and audit items) is ways that a spreadsheet simply can't. The problem (for us) was to capture key details of these separate assets and centralize them in a single asset list. With the advent of our "RemoteField," we solved this issue and delivered the centralized asset list to the masses. As soon as we get around to pushing our changes from our sample site to the demo, we'll post a link. Until then, you are welcome to download the improvements and check them out. The beauty is you won't have to do anything special when entering data. Just key your asset data the way you always have and "voila!" the asset list is built automagically. Available now. |
