What is Active Agenda?

Active Agenda^® is a community developed software application for operational risk management (OpRisk) . Active Agenda consists of more than eighty (80) integrated modules which help companies to manage and reduce risk and related costs. Active Agenda is an open source software development project.

Active Agenda consists of an OpRisk domain application AND a rapid application builder platform we call spec2app. Active Agenda was created to reduce workplace risk while empowering other domain professionals and niche developers to address their unique application needs.

The spec2app process utilizes a PHP generator to convert specifications written in XML to a functioning browser application atop a MySQL database. The application is highly modular and enables the customization and maintenance of the application using single XML module definitions to generate the database, search, screen layouts, charts, and support.

2008-07-21 Powered Industrial Trucks

It's a vehicle! It's a piece of equipment! It's somewhere in between!

We received a lot of feedback about powered industrial trucks. People implementing Active Agenda wanted a specific set of modules to track powered industrial trucks because they are such a unique (and risky) piece of industrial equipment.

We created a series of modules that can be used to track powered industrial trucks, related daily audits, hazards, and training requirements. The Powered Industrial Truck modules also save cost data to the central Asset List module .

If you have ever wrestled with tracking industrial trucks using equipment and/or vehicle tracking systems that just didn't quite work - why not give our new modules a try.
